A VISION SET THROUGH PRAYER, FAITH IN THE LORD & COMMUNITY DESIRE
In 2004, Myron and Genet Smiens answered a calling to establish for Christian schooling, they reached out to others in the community who shared a similar desire, the vision for an academically strong faith-based interdenominational Christian school and a plan was put into action. Soon the traditional classroom style; teaching grades K-8 (and eventually K-12) began and over the years through the grace of God and local community support, Columbia County Christian School (CCCS) has developed a strong following.
MIRACLES & ANSWERED PRAYERS OPENED NEW DOORS
In 2009, CCCS was in need of a new facility and location. Our prayers were answered through the cooperative efforts of Warren Community Fellowship, collecting generous donations of labor and materials. In just 3 short months, our new school facility was constructed, our hearts & doors were open and were ready to serve. Columbia County Christian School (CCCS) continues to proudly serve families in Columbia County – our interdenominational Christian school welcomes children from Pre K (age 4) through 8th grade.
A MISSION OF ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE & CHRIST-LIKE CHARACTER
CCCS provides and educational environment where students (Pre K- 8th grade) will acquire God’s wisdom, academic knowledge, a Biblical worldview and are equipped to become faithful, discerning, creative servants of God. Our students show wisdom and confidence with a desire for life-long learning and positively impacting their culture.
